AND SOUR TOFU RECIPE

And Sour Tofu is a wonderful vegetarian chinese meal. It is
very hard to get a good vegetarian chinese meal so I like
making this myself. The flavour of the tofu, green and red
bell peppers, mushrooms, cashews and garlic are just some
of the ingredients to make this recipe a sensational tasting
meal.
Sweet
And Sour Tofu Ingredients
1 lb tofu
1 tsp ginger
6 Tbs water
2 Tbs honey
1 lb mushrooms
4 cloves of garlic
8 scallions minced
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup tamari sauce
1/4 cup tomato paste
1 cup toasted cashews
1 green and 1 red bell pepper sliced in strips

And Sour Tofu Method
Cut tofu into small cubes and
set aside. Combine lemon juice, tamari sauce, water, tomato
paste, honey, ginger and garlic, mix until well blended. Add
tofu to this marinade and stir gently and let marinate for
several hours or overnight. Stir fry scallions, bell peppers
and mushrooms in 2 teaspoons of oil. After several minutes
add tofu with all the marinade. Lower heat and continue to
stir fry until everything is hot and bubbly. Remove from heat
and stir in cashews. Serve the Sweet And Sour Tofu over rice.
