PORK
WITH GINGER AND PEAR RECIPE
This
recipe will teach you how to make Pork with Ginger and Pear.
It is a quick and easy recipe to make.
This is the most exquisit way of doing pork that I have ever
tasted. You can either do the pork in thin slices or do what
I do sometimes and leave the pork in bigger pieces. The ginger
and the pears makes the Pork with Ginger and Pear taste absolutely
sensational and served with beans or asparagus spears and
steamed new potatoes makes it a wonderful meal.
Pork with Ginger and Pear Ingredients
2 Tbs
water
2 tsp olive oil
1 Tbs cornflour
1 cup leek sliced
1/2 cup pear juice
1 cup chicken stock
2 Tbs ginger minced
2 tsp lemon zest grated
8 dried pear halves chopped
1 tsp fresh rosemary chopped
500g pork fillet trimmed of fat
Pork with
Ginger and Pear Method
First thing to do is preheat
the oven to 160 degrees. Slice the pork into thin slices or
leave the slices bigger if you prefer. In an oven proof casserole
dish heat the oil then brown the pork and then remove from
the dish. Add the sliced leek and cook over medium heat until
soft then add the ginger, pear, stock, pear juice, lemon zest
and rosemary then bring to the boil. In a cup add the cornflour
and blend with the water and then stir it into the mixture
and cook for 3 minutes while stirring until mixture thickens.
Return the pork to the casserole and cover with a tight fitting
lid and bake the Pork with Ginger and Pear in the oven for
40 minutes or until pork is tender.

made Pork with Ginger and Pear!
